Eva Morales (MD, PhD, and MPH) is Associate Professor of Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Murcia (Spain). Her research interests focus on 1) birth cohorts: understanding of the role of genetics, epigenetics, and molecular mechanisms of human complex diseases and early development by analyzing data of cutting-edge longitudinal birth cohort studies; 2) environmental epidemiology: effects of air pollutants and endocrine disruptors on maternal and child health; and 3) epidemiology of asthma. She co-directs the Nutrition in Early Life and Asthma (NELA) birth cohort at the Biomedical Research Institute of Murcia.
