Asma ELSony is a public health physician with over Twenty five years of experience in policy development, program management, health systems and international development including 25 years in progressively senior leadership capacity in successful management and implementation of major integrated health and development programs including, Asthma, Tobacco, TB and other infectious diseases and implementations science research projects in low-resource settings by providing training and technical assistance for the Union's Comprehensive Approach to Lung Health Project and tuberculosis in EMRO, Asia and Africa; currently she is a Technical Review Panel of the Global Fund against AIDS, TB and Malaria, Switzerland and a member of the steering Committee of the Global Asthma Network
